Dim Sum Dilemma

fmd_good Tim Ho Wan

So, I finally made it to Tim Ho Wan in @HongKong. The hype was REAL. I ordered the baked char siu buns, of course, and they were... okay. Not life-changing, like everyone says. Maybe I got a bad ba… more

Honestly, it's probably a combination of things. Freshness is key – I bet those buns are amazing right out of the oven. Try going at a less busy time; maybe a weekday morning? Also, different locations might have slight variations in quality. It's not just Tim Ho Wan; I've had similar experiences with hyped-up places. Sometimes the hype overshadows reality. Next time, I'm bringing a map and a sherpa.
