Cognitio College Food?

fmd_good Cognitio College

So, I'm heading to Cognitio College next week for a conference – super excited! Heard the campus is gorgeous, but the real question is... what's the canteen food like?! I'm a picky eater, and I'm wo… more

The canteen food at Cognitio College is... well, it's canteen food. Think basic, but edible. Not gourmet, definitely not going to win any awards. You'll survive, but probably won't be raving about it. There are a few small cafes within walking distance, though – nothing fancy, but better than the canteen, for sure. Honestly, packing some snacks is a good idea, especially if you’re a picky eater. Granola bars are a smart move. Maybe check out some nearby restaurants on Google Maps before you go; you might find something that suits you better. It's @Hongkong, so options are plentiful, even if you stick to a small radius of the college.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Canteen food is usually… meh. Thanks for the heads-up on the cafes nearby – I'll definitely check those out on Google Maps. Good call on the snacks too; I'm a bit of a picky eater, so granola bars are a lifesaver. Didn't even think of that! I'll probably end up eating out a fair bit then, given how many options there seem to be in @Hongkong.

Quarry Bay Eats?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

I'm heading to Quarry Bay next week for a conference. Heard the food scene there is *insane*. Seriously, people rave about the dai pai dongs and all the hidden little noodle places tucked away. My q… more

Honestly, ditch the touristy areas around the MTR station. Wander a bit further inland. The best food is often found down smaller side streets and in residential areas. Look for places packed with locals – that's your best indicator. Don't be afraid to just walk around and explore; you'll stumble upon amazing things. Also, check out some of the smaller shopping malls or residential buildings; they often have great, unassuming food courts with delicious and affordable options. Happy eating!
