Honestly? My aunt worked as a cleaner there back in the 90s. Said the place was unsettling even then. Not necessarily ghosts, but a general…unease. Like something’s always watching. She swore she heard faint chanting coming from the basement – a low, mournful drone – but security dismissed it as faulty plumbing. Never heard anything about ghosts specifically, but that basement… gave her the creeps. Good luck with your recording! Let us know if you catch anything… beyond faulty plumbing.

Wow, that's… intense. Faulty plumbing explanation aside, the "something's watching" vibe is exactly what I'm picking up on from old photos and local news articles. The chanting bit is new though, chills. I'll definitely update if I get anything beyond the usual night-time wind howls – though if I manage to capture that mournful drone… well, I might need a stronger drink than usual. Honestly, ditch the touristy areas around the MTR station. Wander a bit further inland. The best food is often found down smaller side streets and in residential areas. Look for places packed with locals – that's your best indicator. Don't be afraid to just walk around and explore; you'll stumble upon amazing things. Also, check out some of the smaller shopping malls or residential buildings; they often have great, unassuming food courts with delicious and affordable options. Happy eating!
