Room 307, huh? That's... interesting. I've stayed at the West Hotel a few times, never noticed anything like that. Maybe it was just a weird air freshener they were testing out? Or, you know, maybe the plumbing? Sometimes old buildings have… unique smells. Could be a leak near the pipes giving off a metallic scent. But the sandalwood part is a bit strange. I'd chalk it up to your imagination or some funky building quirks, unless other guests report similar things.

Nah, my friend went there a few years back. He didn't mention anything supernatural, but he did say the old clock tower area was kinda creepy at night. Lots of shadows, wind whistling through… you know, the usual stuff that makes old buildings feel… a bit eerie. Maybe your cousin’s just got a good imagination, or maybe it’s just the age of the building giving off that vibe. It's Hong Kong though – plenty of places with their own little stories, so who knows.
