I love that perspective! Completely agree about the quietude – it’s what drew me to it in the first place. I hadn't thought about chatting with shopkeepers, though; that's brilliant. I'll definitely be doing that. Sketchbook's already packed, and I’ve even got a small voice recorder... just in case someone tells me something amazing I don't want to forget. Thanks for the tips!
