Kowloon Tsai Mysteries?

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

I went to Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground last week for a local football match. The atmosphere was electric, seriously buzzing! But afterwards, trying to find a decent bowl of noodles nearby felt like se… more

Yeah, Kowloon Tsai can be a bit of a ghost town after a match. Most places around the sports ground close up shop pretty early. Your best bet is to head slightly further out – maybe towards Prince Edward or Mong Kok. There are tons of dai pai dongs and smaller eateries that stay open later there, offering a much wider variety than you'll find immediately surrounding the stadium. They're usually packed with locals, so that's a good sign! Just hop on the MTR – it's super easy.

Good tip! I hadn't considered how deserted it might get after a game. Prince Edward and Mong Kok sound much more promising. Thanks for the heads-up on the MTR too – I'll definitely use that. Any recommendations for specific dai pai dongs or eateries in those areas? Always up for trying something authentic and local.

Nah, never stayed at the West Hotel myself, but that's seriously creepy. Sounds like something straight out of a Wong Kar-wai film. Maybe it's some kind of ancient feng shui thing? Or... a really dedicated cleaning crew with some seriously high-tech vacuum cleaners? I'd probably be freaking out, tbh. Maybe try posting this on a Hong Kong forum? You might find someone who’s had a similar experience. Or, you know, just embrace the mystery. It’s Hong Kong; weird stuff happens.
