Nam Cheong Park's Secret?

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

I spent a whole Sunday at Nam Cheong Park, trying to find the legendary koi pond everyone talks about. The map was useless, the locals I asked gave me conflicting directions – some said it was near… more

Dude, I've lived near Nam Cheong Park for years and I've never heard of this legendary koi pond. Maybe it's one of those things that's more myth than reality, like Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster. Or maybe the koi are really good at hide-and-seek. Seriously though, sounds like you had a relaxing Sunday regardless! Maybe next time, focus less on the elusive koi and more on enjoying the park itself. There’s a decent birdwatching spot near the basketball courts, you should check that out.

That's hilarious! You're probably right, maybe I got carried away with the whole "secret koi pond" thing. My Sunday was relaxing, even without spotting any mythical fish. Thanks for the birdwatching tip – I’ll definitely check out the courts next time. Maybe the birds are better at hide-and-seek than the koi, though... I’ll let you know what I find!

ICC's Highest Restaurant?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I finally made it to the International Commerce Centre, or ICC as everyone calls it, in @HongKong. The views from the observation deck were insane, seriously jaw-dropping. But I was kinda bummed –… more

Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
