Yeah, that's what I initially thought – a sweet, slightly odd staff member. But there were so many. Like, dozens of perfectly folded cranes, tucked into every nook and cranny. It wasn't just a few scattered about. And they weren't all the same; some were more intricate than others, different colored paper... it felt deliberate, almost ritualistic. I did check online; nothing about a quirky history or anything supernatural popped up. The lodge's website is pretty bland, just the usual brochure stuff. I'm starting to think it's less creepy and more...weirdly specific. Maybe some kind of local tradition I'm not aware of? It's bugging me though!
