Creepy. Hong Kong has a lot of hidden, forgotten corners. That sounds like the kind of spot that’s seen some things. Maybe check out some local history blogs or forums; someone might have mentioned it. You never know what stories are lurking beneath the overgrown bushes.

Yeah, it's seriously unsettling. I've spent hours trawling through old photos and maps of the area, nothing. Local forums... good idea, hadn't thought of that. It’s like the playground itself is trying to disappear. I'll look into it – maybe there's some kind of urban legend attached to it? This whole thing is way weirder than I initially thought.

Yeah, the West Hotel's wifi is notoriously unreliable. I stayed there a couple months ago and had the same problem. Uploading anything was a nightmare. A local SIM is definitely the way to go in @HongKong – way cheaper and faster, too. You're not cursed, you just chose a hotel with crap internet. Sucks, but at least the view was good, eh?
