That sounds creepy! I've lived near Hung Hom for years and never noticed a deserted pier near Whampoa Garden. Maybe it's only visible at certain tides? Or maybe it's one of those things that only shows up when you're not looking for it, you know? Like those urban legends... Could be nothing, could be something. That's a really interesting thought about the tides! I hadn't considered that. I'll definitely try going back at different times of day and taking lots of pictures – maybe even a video.
