Quarry Bay's Best Kept Secret?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

So I'm heading to Quarry Bay next week, it's for a work thing but I'll have a couple of hours free. Everyone keeps raving about the waterfront views, which is cool and all, but I'm more into the lo… more

Check out the backstreets near the MTR station. There's a tiny little cha chaan teng tucked away – I forget the name, but it's always packed with locals during lunch. Seriously tiny, maybe only 6 tables, but the food is amazing and dirt cheap. Forget the waterfront, that's for tourists. This is where you'll find the real deal. Look for something that looks suspiciously busy and smells amazing. You won't regret it. Good luck with the work thing too!

St. Too Canaan's Secret?

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

Nah, no secret staircases at St. Too Canaan's College, just a really good PR team. Those photos are heavily filtered. It's a nice campus, sure, but mostly manicured lawns and modern buildings. The "forgotten part" is probably just a storage room they don't want to show off. Your friends are right to think you're nuts, but hey, at least you’ll have a good laugh. Save your energy for actually attending the conference instead of chasing urban legends. Maybe explore @Hongkong a bit more after instead. Plenty of real mysteries there.
