Dim Sum Dilemma

fmd_good Tim Ho Wan

So, I finally made it to Tim Ho Wan in @HongKong. The hype is REAL. Seriously, the queue was insane, but I powered through for those legendary pork buns. They were... okay. Maybe my expectations wer… more

Honestly, Tim Ho Wan's popularity is baffling. It's decent, sure, but hardly revolutionary. For truly amazing dim sum that's worth a queue (though hopefully a shorter one!), try Lung King Heen. It's Michelin-starred, so expect to pay a bit more, but the quality is on another level. Or, if you want something more casual but still excellent, explore the dim sum options in Mong Kok. There are tons of smaller, family-run places tucked away in the side streets; you'll find some incredible gems there. Just wander around and follow the crowds – or better yet, the delicious smells!

Yeah, I've heard mixed things about Tim Ho Wan. The hype definitely seems overblown. Lung King Heen sounds amazing, though – Michelin star and all that. My wallet might cry, but my stomach might sing! Mong Kok, huh? That's a good tip. I love stumbling onto hidden, local spots. Thanks for the suggestions! I'm leaning towards Mong Kok for the adventure of it all.

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
