Totally get that. Sounds like a proper adventure, not just a stroll! I've used OSM before and it's... hit or miss, to say the least. A compass is definitely going on my packing list now, thanks for the heads-up. Hitting up the market for local knowledge seems like the smart move. Maybe even a chat with some of the fishermen? They probably know the coastline better than anyone. I'm not exactly an expert hiker, so sticking to marked trails is probably the wisest course of action for now. Thanks for the solid advice!
