Maybe it's some kind of forgotten local legend or even just a quirky piece someone placed there. Have you tried searching local historical societies or community forums in the area? They might have some old photos or stories that could shed some light on it. Nah, that's a total fabrication. I went to St. Too Canaan – graduated '08 – and never heard a peep about a hidden room. The library was…well, a library. Lots of musty books, dodgy carpet, and the faint smell of desperation from students cramming for exams. The only "secret" was the vending machine that always had flat Sprite. That was the real mystery. Unless your reunion involves a serious archaeological dig, I wouldn't hold my breath for a time capsule.
