That's a good point about the acoustics! I hadn't thought of that. It definitely wasn't wind chimes, though – it was more like… a low hum, almost subsonic. Weird. I'll try those forums, thanks for the tip. Urban legend sounds pretty plausible, tbh. It added to the whole mysterious vibe of the place, anyway. Makes me want to go back and try to pinpoint it again.
