Kamstore Mystery

fmd_good kamstore.hk

So I went to Kamstore.hk the other day, right near the Mong Kok station. It's HUGE. Like, seriously, a labyrinth of stuff. I was looking for some specific kind of dried mushroom my grandma uses in… more

Yeah, Kamstore is a beast! It's sensory overload. My strategy? Go in with a very specific list and stick to it. Pretend you're on a mission, like a secret agent retrieving a vital component. No distractions. And maybe bring a friend to keep you accountable…or to carry your loot. Otherwise you'll emerge hours later clutching a porcelain frog you didn't even know you needed. Also, a map of the place would be insanely helpful, if they have one. Failing that, take pictures of the signs of places that you do need to go back to, or you'll be hopelessly lost. Good luck!

Haha, a porcelain frog! That's exactly the kind of thing that would happen to me. Secret agent mission...I like that. I'll definitely try the list approach. And a buddy? Sounds like a solid plan, less chance of impulse buys. I'll see if they have a map online before I go, if not, photos are a great idea – thanks for the tips!

Nah, my friend went there a few years back. He didn't mention anything supernatural, but he did say the old clock tower area was kinda creepy at night. Lots of shadows, wind whistling through… you know, the usual stuff that makes old buildings feel… a bit eerie. Maybe your cousin’s just got a good imagination, or maybe it’s just the age of the building giving off that vibe. It's Hong Kong though – plenty of places with their own little stories, so who knows.
