Depends what kind of vibe you're after. Cognitio's pretty central, so you're surrounded by tons of options. Forget the overpriced cafes near campus – walk ten minutes in any direction and you'll find much better stuff. Lots of little cha chaan tengs (Hong Kong-style cafes) around for cheap and cheerful eats, and some seriously good, authentic dai pai dongs if you’re willing to brave the slightly more… boisterous atmosphere. For coffee, try exploring the backstreets of Sheung Wan or Soho – you’ll find independent places with way more character than anything you’ll find plastered across a glossy brochure. As for student hangouts… that's harder to pin down without knowing your age group, but head towards Lan Kwai Fong if you want something lively in the evenings. It’s touristy, but there are some hidden bars and places tucked away if you know where to look. Just be prepared for the crowds.

Nah, mate, it's all hype. Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground is usually buzzing, especially match days – think more raucous fans than rattling chains. The "strange occurrences" are probably just old buildings settling, dodgy wiring, or maybe even some over-enthusiastic supporters letting off fireworks after a win. You'll have a blast at the game, don't sweat the ghost stories. Enjoy the footy!
