Yeah, the Central-Mid-Levels escalators are a trip. I've done that same thing – get off somewhere random and end up exploring these amazing little pockets of calm. It's like discovering a secret city within a city. Those quiet residential streets are a total contrast to the hustle and bustle down below. I bet that tea house was awesome.
