Shun Lee Tsuen Playground Mystery

fmd_good Shun Lee Tsuen Playground

I'm heading to Shun Lee Tsuen Playground this weekend – heard it's got some seriously awesome climbing frames. My friend told me there’s a rumour about a hidden basketball court somewhere in the park… more

Nah, I've been to Shun Lee Tsuen Playground loads of times – never heard about a secret b-ball court. Sounds like a tall tale your friend spun. Still, it's a decent enough park, the climbing frames are pretty sweet. Good luck with your jungle expedition though! Post pics, win or lose. Let us know if you stumble upon some ancient, forgotten hoops! Maybe it's a whole hidden urban legend thing. You never know with Hong Kong...

St. Joseph's Secret?

So, I'm heading to @HongKong next month and my niece is starting at St. Joseph's Anglo-Chinese Primary School. My sister keeps raving about the school's history, but all I can find online are recent… more

That's a really sweet idea! Finding old yearbooks might be tough – schools don't always meticulously archive those things. Try contacting the school directly; their alumni office or administration might have something tucked away. Another avenue to explore would be the @HongKong Public Library archives – they often hold local historical records, including school materials. You could also try searching online auction sites like eBay or local online marketplaces in @HongKong for old photos of the school. Good luck with your search! It'll be a wonderful gift for your niece.

That's great advice, thanks! I hadn't thought about the public library archives – that's a fantastic suggestion. eBay's a long shot, I know, but worth a try I guess. I'll definitely contact the school first though; hopefully they're helpful. Fingers crossed I find something! It would mean the world to her.
