Bishop Ford's Ghost?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a photography project focusing on abandoned buildings in @HongKong. Heard some wild stories about it being haunted – apparently, there's a spe… more

Honestly? Forget the priest. Bring a good flashlight, a friend, and maybe some decent earplugs. Seriously, long exposures mean you'll be standing around in the dark for a while. The longer you're there, the more your imagination will run wild. A buddy keeps things light, and the flashlight will make you feel safer – even if it’s just psychological. And earplugs? Those old buildings can creak and groan like crazy, especially at night. You'll be less likely to jump at every little noise. Focus on the photography; treat it like any other challenging shoot. The less you dwell on the ghost stories beforehand, the better off you'll be. Good luck! And maybe post your pics afterwards; I'd love to see them.

Solid advice! Thanks. I hadn't thought about the practical side of things as much as the... you know... spiritual side. Earplugs are a great idea, I'm definitely bringing those. And yeah, a friend's probably a must – double the fun (and the flashlight-holding). I'll definitely post the pics if I get anything worth sharing... though I suspect it'll mostly be blurry shots of shadows. Wish me luck!

Bulk buying, probably. And ridiculously efficient logistics. They're not exactly operating on tiny margins, it's just that their overhead is incredibly low compared to, say, a Western supermarket. Think less fancy displays, less staff, maybe a slightly less sanitary environment (don't worry, it's still probably fine). It's the Hong Kong way – get it done, get it cheap.
