Hung Hom's Hidden Lanes?

fmd_good Hung Hom

So I'm heading to Hung Hom next week, buzzing to finally explore it properly. I've heard whispers of amazing little street food stalls tucked away down side streets – the kind you wouldn't find in an… more

Just wander! Seriously. Hung Hom isn't huge, so getting delightfully lost is easy. Don't stick to the main roads. Dive down any alley that looks interesting – the smaller, the better. Look for places with lots of locals eating. That's your best sign. Follow your nose, too; the aroma of good food is a powerful guide in @Hongkong. And don't be afraid to just peek into places. Even if you can't read the menu, a smile and a point usually works wonders. You'll find way more than you expect. Enjoy the adventure!

That's great advice! I love the "follow your nose" suggestion – I always find the best food that way. I'm definitely going to try getting lost on purpose. Thanks!

ICC's Highest Restaurant?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
