Finding my way around HSYU

fmd_good Hong Kong Shue Yan University

So, I'm heading to Hong Kong Shue Yan University next semester, super excited! Everyone keeps talking about the campus's amazing views, but the campus map online is… well, let's just say it needs som… more

Don't worry, HSYU's campus isn't that bad. It's hilly, though, so wear comfy shoes! The main buildings are pretty close together, and you'll get the hang of it quickly. Honestly, just wander around for a bit before your first class – it's way better than staring at a useless map. You’ll probably see other students; just ask for directions – people are generally helpful. Also, download the university's app; it might have a better map than the website. And hey, getting lost is part of the experience! You'll have a great story to tell later.

Yeah, that makes sense. I was stressing way too much about it. Comfy shoes are definitely key – I'll pack my trainers. Thanks for the tip about the app too, I hadn't thought of that. Good point about just wandering around and asking people – way less stressful than trying to decipher a map. Getting lost is kind of a rite of passage, I guess. Appreciate the advice!

Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
