Seriously? Tunnels? That's… unsettling. I always figured it was just the overgrown trees and weirdly quiet streets. The "thicker air" thing is spot on though. It's almost claustrophobic, even during the day. I've lived nearby for years and never really thought about it until last week – that's when I felt it, that weird… pressure? I should probably just stop walking down that road at night, haha. Maybe I'll try driving past during the day and see if it still feels the same.
