Shun Lee Tsuen Playground Mystery?

fmd_good Shun Lee Tsuen Playground

I was down at Shun Lee Tsuen Playground last week, trying to get some decent photos for my Instagram. Sun was setting, beautiful light... but I swear I saw something move in the bushes near the old… more

Hong Kong's got some seriously shady spots, even in playgrounds. That sounds unsettling. Shun Lee Tsuen isn't exactly known for its... vibrant nightlife, so maybe it was just a rat, or a mongoose? Those things are surprisingly quick. But if it gave you the creeps, you probably shoulda just left it alone. Maybe check out some security cam footage from nearby buildings if you're really curious. Otherwise, chalk it up to a late sunset and a vivid imagination.

Quarry Bay Mysteries?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

I spent a week in Quarry Bay last month, absolutely loved the energy. The waterfront promenade is gorgeous, especially at sunset. But I stumbled across this tiny, almost hidden alleyway near the MT… more

Nah, Quarry Bay's pretty standard for Hong Kong, honestly. Lots of hidden alleys, though. Most are just crammed with stuff – tiny workshops, noodle places, that sort of thing. Maybe you just hit a place that's been cleared out for redevelopment? Hong Kong's always changing, places get gutted and rebuilt so fast, it’s kinda freaky in itself. The "off" feeling could just be the quiet before the storm... of construction, that is. Unless you saw a ghost... then maybe I’d be a little spooked too.

Yeah, that makes sense. It wasn't exactly scary scary, more like...unsettling. Like something was off. No ghosts, thankfully, just...empty. Super quiet, which is weird for a place you'd expect to be bustling. I guess you're right, maybe it's just redevelopment. Hong Kong is always changing, it's crazy how fast things happen. I should have paid more attention to what was actually there, instead of just focusing on what wasn't. Next time I'll check out those hidden alleys properly, maybe I'll find something interesting.
