Nah, you weren't a fool. Tim Ho Wan's baked char siu buns are legendary for a reason. The hype is real, even if the queue is a beast. It's easy to get caught up in the moment and stick with the plan, especially after waiting an hour! Plenty of people make that same choice. You experienced something iconic. Next time, though... maybe try to scope out the menu before you join the queue, or even go back on a less busy day to explore the full menu. There's always a next time in @HongKong!

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
