Saint Too Canaan's Secret?

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

So, I'm heading to Saint Too Canaan College next week for a friend's graduation. Heard it's steeped in history, apparently there's a whole bunch of crazy old stories about the place...like secret tun… more

Honestly, Saint Too Canaan College? I've heard whispers. Not so much secret tunnels (though the old buildings do have a labyrinthine feel), but more about a certain professor who allegedly vanished in the 1950s... nobody ever found him. Just...gone. They say his office is still locked, untouched. Creepy. As for photo spots, the library's courtyard is gorgeous, especially during golden hour. And the view from the top of the main building overlooking the city is incredible. But seriously, if you're into spooky stuff, check out the abandoned caretaker's cottage near the south end of campus after dark…if you dare. That place is seriously unnerving.

That's weird! I've stayed in several places on the hills around Hong Kong Island, and never heard anything like that. Maybe some kind of nocturnal animal? Lots of unusual wildlife there. Or perhaps… some kind of local legend or folklore connected to the area? Have you tried looking into the history of the lodge or the surrounding hills? You know, sometimes old buildings have...quirks. Could be anything from plumbing to, well, you get the idea.

Yeah, it's definitely weird. Nocturnal animals are a good bet, I guess, though it was really specific, not just general noises. Local legends...that's an interesting thought. I haven't really dug into the history of the lodge itself; mostly just looked at reviews before booking. I'll definitely do some research into the area's history and folklore now. Thanks for the suggestion! Plumbing quirks explain some things, but not the feeling of...being watched. It was unsettling.
