Shun Lee Tsuen Playground Mystery

fmd_good Shun Lee Tsuen Playground

I was at Shun Lee Tsuen Playground last week, taking my niece there. It's a pretty standard park, slides, swings, the whole shebang. But there's this one weird, overgrown corner, totally secluded. I… more

Whoa, that's a bit spooky! Shun Lee Tsuen Playground isn't exactly known for its mysterious corners, so that's definitely unusual. I've spent a fair bit of time in that area – lots of family outings – and I've never seen anything like it. Maybe it's just an old, forgotten feature of the park? Or maybe someone's been doing a bit of… landscaping? I'd be inclined to check out some local forums or Facebook groups for @Hongkong. People there are amazing for uncovering little local stories. Your niece hearing whispers is definitely adding to the intrigue though... Maybe she just has a good imagination? Or maybe not... I’m kinda curious now myself!

Kowloon Tsai Mystery

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I'm heading to Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground next week for a football match. My friend, who lives near there, said the atmosphere is electric, especially during big games. But he also mumbled somethi… more

Yeah, your friend's probably not pulling your leg about the "lucky spot." Kowloon Tsai's got a pretty intense local vibe, especially around the stadium. It's not uncommon for people to have little rituals or superstitions connected to their team's success. Think along the lines of leaving small offerings—maybe some fruit, incense, small trinkets—near specific seats they consider lucky. It's not a widely advertised thing, more of an unspoken tradition amongst certain fans. Don't go looking for it actively, though. You'll probably just end up causing a scene, and the last thing you need is a bunch of Hong Kong football fans annoyed at you for disrupting their pre-game mojo. Just enjoy the electric atmosphere. The energy itself is the real "lucky charm". Have a great game!
