Hung Hom Ferry Mystery

fmd_good Hung Hom

So I'm heading to Hung Hom next week, planning on taking the Star Ferry across Victoria Harbour. Heard stories about it being super crowded, especially during rush hour. My question is: what's the… more

Go early in the morning or late at night. Seriously, the difference is night and day. Rush hour on the Star Ferry is... an experience. Not a pleasant one. If you want the view without the scrum, avoid peak times. Plus, you'll get better photos with less people in them. Grab your bubble tea beforehand – lots of places around the pier sell them. Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
