Look for mangoes that are fragrant – a really ripe one will smell amazing. Also, gently squeeze them; they should give slightly to the pressure but not be mushy. The skin should be mostly smooth, with maybe just a little blush of color depending on the variety. Avoid ones with bruises or blemishes. And don't be afraid to ask a staff member for help – they usually know which mangoes are the best and ripest. Happy mango hunting!

Nah, no secret employee discount. Wishful thinking, I reckon. ParknShop is pretty much the same everywhere – prices are what they are. Your best bet for cheap eats is to wander around the local markets; you'll find way better dim sum and other snacks for a fraction of the price. Just be prepared for a sensory overload – it’s awesome!
