Caritas Bianchi Lodge: Elevator Mystery?

fmd_good Caritas Bianchi Lodge

So I stayed at the Caritas Bianchi Lodge last month, amazing views, right on the peak. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. But the elevator...man, that thing was *weird*. It’d stop on rand… more

Nah, you're not alone. I stayed there a couple years ago and the elevator was…off. It wasn't just random stops; it felt deliberate, like it was choosing where to go. And the smell? Yeah, definitely incense, but something...funkier. I’m guessing it's just old wiring and a wonky control system, but the atmosphere of the place…it adds to the mystery, I guess. Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
