West Hotel Mystery?

fmd_good West Hotel

So, I'm heading to @HongKong next month and booked a room at the West Hotel. Heard some...whispers about a certain room, 313, supposedly haunted. Anyone stayed there? Any spooky stories? I’m kinda… more

Room 313? Hah! I've stayed at the West Hotel a few times – never in that room, thankfully. Heard the rumors, of course. Everyone has. It's less "haunted" and more "people like to tell stories." Think of it like the urban legend of a creepy clown living under your bed – fun to tell, probably nothing to worry about. Unless your friendly ghost is a real jerk. Yeah, the food at Ming Garden is amazing, I totally agree. But the service? A complete lottery. Sometimes it's fine, other times... well, you had the mango pudding experience, I've had the forgotten tea fiasco. I think they're just overwhelmed, especially during peak hours. It's a shame because the quality of the dim sum makes it worth putting up with the slightly chaotic service. Maybe try going at an off-peak time?

Totally get what you mean. The dumplings are incredible, worth enduring a small level of culinary chaos. Off-peak sounds like a plan. Maybe a Tuesday afternoon dim sum binge is in order... 🤔
