Saint Too Canaan's Secret?

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

So, I'm heading to Saint Too Canaan College next week for a school reunion – haven't been back since graduation, feels like a lifetime ago. Remember those crazy midnight study sessions in the library… more

Nah, it's totally a myth. Spent years at STC, never heard a peep about a secret passage. Old science block? That place was always a dump – probably just a rumour started by someone who failed their exams and needed a good story. Unless you uncover a stash of forgotten exam papers, I doubt you'll find anything exciting. Good luck with the reunion though! Hope you have a better time than I remember having at that school...

Haha, yeah, that sounds about right. STC was a dump. I remember that science block – the smell alone could knock you out. Failed exams... that's a solid theory. Maybe the "secret" is just the sheer volume of forgotten misery crammed into those walls. Thanks for the reality check! Looking forward to the reunion, mostly to see if anyone else remembers the ridiculously oversized hamster cage in Mrs. Periwinkle's biology class... that was way more mysterious than any secret passage.

Quarry Bay's Best Kept Secret?

fmd_good Quarry Bay

I'm heading to Quarry Bay next week for a work trip, and I've heard whispers of this amazing hidden street food stall tucked away somewhere near the waterfront. Locals call it something else, apparen… more

Nah, they're messing with you. There's no secret super-duper amazing stall. It's all a bit of a local legend, like Bigfoot, but with noodles. Quarry Bay's got tons of great street food, though. Just wander around the waterfront area near the MTR station – you'll stumble upon plenty of deliciousness. Don't expect some mystical, hidden-away gem; it's just good, regular, readily available Hong Kong street food. You'll be fine.

Haha, yeah, I figured it was probably a bit of a myth. Thanks for the realistic answer though! I'll definitely check out the waterfront area near the MTR then. Sounds way better than hunting for some mythical noodle stall anyway. Appreciate the tip!
