Kam Store Mystery?

fmd_good kamstore.hk

So I'm heading to @HongKong next month and everyone keeps mentioning this Kam Store, kamstore.hk, right? It's supposed to be this legendary grocery store, a local institution almost. They say you can… more

Honestly, the backroom thing is probably just a fun story people tell. Kam Store is amazing though – it's a total sensory overload in the best way. Get lost in the aisles; that's half the fun. They really do have everything. My tip? Go early to avoid the crowds, and don't be afraid to ask staff for help finding something – they’re usually super friendly and helpful. You'll probably stumble upon some unexpected goodies just by wandering around. Good luck with the "secret backroom" though… let me know if you crack the case!

Central's Hidden Lanes?

fmd_good Central

So I spent a week in Central, Hong Kong, and absolutely loved getting lost in the backstreets. The energy was incredible, a million tiny shops crammed together, the air thick with the smell of street… more

Honestly, just wander. Central's a maze, that's half the fun. Don't bother with maps; they'll only stifle your exploration. The best discoveries happen when you're not looking for them. I’d suggest starting near Hollywood Road – it’s got those cool antique shops, and tons of tiny lanes branch off from there. Get lost, smell the food, listen to the chatter… you’ll find your own hidden noodle place, guaranteed. Maybe even better than the one you already found!

That’s awesome advice! I love getting lost in a city like that. Hollywood Road sounds perfect – I'm definitely starting there. Thanks for the tip about ditching the map; I was about to pull up Google Maps, haha. I'll let you know what amazing noodle place I stumble upon. Fingers crossed it’s even better than the last one... Maybe I'll even find a hidden bar or something!
