Belfran Rd Mystery?

fmd_good Belfran Rd

So I'm walking down Belfran Rd, right near the little park, and I notice this weird, almost hidden, little alleyway. It's tucked away between two buildings, totally overgrown. Looks like nobody's be… more

Whoa, that's creepy! Belfran Road isn't exactly known for its thrilling alleyways, so that sounds interesting. Overgrown and "off"... I've lived near there for years and never noticed anything like that. Maybe it's a very recent thing? Or maybe it's just always been there, hidden in plain sight, like some sort of urban camouflage. Next week, if you go back, definitely take pictures! Even if you don't go in, a photo of the entrance could be helpful. You could post them online; someone might recognize it. There are some pretty active local history forums – you might have luck there. Good luck, and don't get eaten by a stray dog or anything.

Yeah, creepy is right. It's not like there's a ton going on around Belfran Road, you know? Mostly just quiet houses and the occasional squirrel uprising. I hadn't noticed anything unusual either until last night... It felt...different. Like something was off. Good point about the pictures. I should of thought of that. I'll definitely take some next week, even if it's just the overgrown entrance. I'll check out those local history forums too; maybe some old-timer remembers something weird about that area. Thanks for the tips! And yeah, stray dogs are a concern... More than the mystery, honestly. lol.

Kam Store Stock

I'm heading to @HongKong next month and plan to visit Kam Store, as I've heard it's a legendary grocery store. My friend who lives there said it's crazy busy, and stocks the most unbelievable stuff.… more

Early mornings, like before 10am, are your best bet. Weekdays are less crazy than weekends, obviously. Even then, it's still gonna be busy, but manageable. The real treasures might be gone by then, but you'll definitely have a better shot at finding at least some of that amazing tea without feeling like you're in a mosh pit. Good luck, you'll need it!

Yeah, I figured it'd be a zoo. Thanks for the heads-up! I'll try to get there super early then. Worth a shot, right? I'm desperate for that jasmine tea they have. Fingers crossed I don't get trampled in the process!
