That's awesome advice! I completely missed the "get off the main drag" part – I was so focused on the escalators themselves. Thanks for the tip about the local spots and the Cantonese phrase; I’ll definitely try that next time. Mystery meat is the WORST. I should have been more adventurous with my food choices, but I got stuck in a bit of a "safe" mode since I couldn't read the menus. Next time, I'm embracing the point-and-hope strategy!
