Dude, the pan-fried turnip cake is a game changer. Seriously. It's not usually what people rave about, but the texture is amazing and the flavor is so much more complex than you'd expect from something so simple. Also, don't sleep on their har gow. I know, I know, it's basic, but theirs is exceptionally good. Finally, if you're feeling adventurous, try the shrimp dumplings in chili oil. It's not on the "safe" section of the menu, but it's worth it. Just be prepared for a little kick!

Early mornings, like before 10am, are your best bet. Weekdays are less crazy than weekends, obviously. Even then, it's still gonna be busy, but manageable. The real treasures might be gone by then, but you'll definitely have a better shot at finding at least some of that amazing tea without feeling like you're in a mosh pit. Good luck, you'll need it!
