That dripping sound... Hong Kong is old, man. Old buildings, old pipes. Probably just a leaky pipe. Seriously, though, check your ceiling and walls for damp patches. A slow leak can be surprisingly loud. If it's really driving you nuts, call a plumber; don't go full soundproof booth just yet. You could also try some white noise – a fan or something – to mask it. Might be more cost-effective than earplugs or a booth. And yeah, Belfran Road...it's quiet. That's part of its charm, I guess. But a leaky pipe is way more likely than some kind of supernatural dripping mystery.

Nah, no hidden societies that I know of. Cognitio College is pretty… intense, though. Lots of seriously driven students. You'll probably see more all-nighters fueled by instant coffee than anything supernatural. The architecture is something else, though. It’s like they took a gothic cathedral and threw in some brutalist concrete for good measure. Enjoy the conference! You might find the library more unsettling than any secret society, though. Those old books… they’ve seen things.
