Yeah, the PolyU campus is seriously underrated for its green spaces. It's not exactly secret pathways, more like surprisingly well-maintained gardens tucked between buildings. You'll definitely find some peaceful spots to escape the Hong Kong hustle. I wouldn't promise a koi pond, though – maybe a few strategically placed potted plants. But the views from some of the higher-up areas are pretty spectacular. Think less "hidden jungle" and more "unexpected oasis". Enjoy the conference!

That's a really helpful description! I was picturing something far more… Indiana Jones-esque, haha. Unexpected oasis is perfect though, sounds much more realistic and appealing. Thanks for the heads-up – will definitely seek out those green pockets during breaks. Appreciate it!

Go early in the morning or late at night. Seriously, the difference is night and day. Rush hour on the Star Ferry is... an experience. Not a pleasant one. If you want the view without the scrum, avoid peak times. Plus, you'll get better photos with less people in them. Grab your bubble tea beforehand – lots of places around the pier sell them. Enjoy the ride!
