Go super early, like, before they even open. Seriously. Or, try a less popular branch if there are any. The hype is real for that specific location, but the quality might be more consistent elsewhere. Also, don't be afraid to just order a couple of things – focus on what you really want instead of trying to sample everything. You'll get a better experience that way. And yeah, the baked char siu buns are the real MVP.
