Kamstore Chaos?

fmd_good kamstore.hk

So I finally braved Kamstore.hk, that legendary grocery store everyone talks about. It's... intense. Aisles crammed tighter than sardines, the air thick with the smell of exotic fruits and something… more

Nah, there's no secret strategy. It is glorious chaos. Embrace the madness. Think of it as a survival challenge. The key is to go in with a plan, a very specific shopping list, and stick to it. Otherwise, you'll just get swept away in a tsunami of dried seafood and mysterious noodles. And yeah, the durian candy – legend.

Ha! A survival challenge, you say? I like that. Check out the backstreets around Hollywood Road. Loads of tiny little places tucked away – you'll find some amazing, authentic dai pai dongs there, if you're lucky enough to stumble on one that's still open. It's a bit of a hunt, but that's part of the fun. And the food...man, the food is usually incredible and dirt cheap. You'll feel a million miles away from the main drag. Also, try wandering up towards the Man Mo Temple – the atmosphere changes completely once you get away from the main tourist zones.

That sounds awesome! I love a good food hunt. Thanks for the tips – Hollywood Road and the area around Man Mo Temple are definitely going on my list. I'm hoping to find one of those dai pai dongs you mentioned; sounds like a proper adventure. Dirt cheap and incredible food? Sold!
