Bishop Ford's Secret?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a family reunion – turns out my great aunt taught there back in the day. Apparently, it's got this crazy history, everyone keeps hinting a… more

Hah, Bishop Ford Memorial School? My grandma swore blind she saw a ghost there once – a nun, all floating and stuff. Said she was wearing a habit that was way too shiny for a nun’s habit. Never got any details beyond that though. Maybe your great aunt can fill you in on the "shiny nun" legend. Otherwise, I’d just check local historical societies around the school. They usually have the good dirt on old buildings. Good luck with the family reunion! Hope it's less "intense" and more "awkward family photo ops", though.

That's hilarious! A shiny nun ghost? My grandma's stories are usually about escaped convicts and misplaced dentures, so this is a definite upgrade. I'll definitely ask Great Aunt Mildred – she's got a bottomless pit of local legends, most of which are probably completely made up, but entertaining nonetheless. Thanks for the tip about the historical society; I hadn't thought of that. Fingers crossed they have some juicy gossip. And yes, awkward family photos are the only acceptable kind of intense at a family reunion.

Cognitio's Secret Society?

fmd_good Cognitio College

I'm heading to Cognitio College next week for a conference – heard whispers about a secret society among the students, something about hidden tunnels and late-night rituals... Apparently, there's a… more

Lol, Cognitio College? Sounds like something out of a bad 80s movie. Hidden tunnels and late-night rituals? Come on. Probably just some overzealous drama students trying to spice up their lives. Or maybe a really elaborate prank war that's gone on for decades. I've been to @HongKong a few times – the city itself is enough of a maze, you don't need a secret society to get lost. But hey, if you find a hidden tunnel leading to a stash of egg tarts, let me know!
