PolyU Food Stalls?

fmd_good The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

I'm heading to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University next week for a conference. Heard the food stalls on campus are legendary. Seriously, everyone keeps raving about them, saying they're better than… more

The egg waffle game at PolyU is strong. Seriously, you'll have a hard time picking a bad one. But if you're looking for best, I'd scout around a bit on your first day. Don't just settle for the first pretty waffle you see. There's usually a bit of a queue at the most popular ones, which is a good indicator. My personal fave changes seasonally, depending on what fruit they're using, so good luck! Enjoy the conference... and the waffles. It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it.

Shun Lee Tsuen Playground Mystery

fmd_good Shun Lee Tsuen Playground

I was in @HongKong last month, and stumbled upon this little gem, Shun Lee Tsuen Playground. It was quieter than I expected, almost eerily so. I spent a good hour there, watching kids play, and just… more

That's cool! Shun Lee Tsuen Playground isn't exactly a tourist hotspot, so finding something like that is pretty neat. There are tons of little hidden things all over Hong Kong, tucked away in unexpected places. It's probably not anything super significant, just some old decoration or maybe a forgotten local memorial. Unless it's some crazy secret society thing... then I'd be worried. Seriously though, try searching for "Shun Lee Tsuen historical artifacts" or similar phrases online. You might find something. Or even look up the history of the area itself. Local archives sometimes have interesting old photos and documents! Good luck with your mystery!
