Hong Kong Hospital Horror Stories?

fmd_good Robert Black Health Centre

So I'm heading to the Robert Black Health Centre next week for a check-up. Heard some... *interesting* things about the place from a friend who works there – apparently, the night shift is legendary… more

Honestly? I've spent a fair bit of time in @Hong Kong hospitals, and while some are definitely... older than others, I've never encountered anything genuinely unexplained. Probably just stories passed around to make the night shift more interesting. Creaky pipes, faulty wiring, overactive imaginations – those are far more likely culprits than ghosts. But hey, if you do see something flit past the operating theater, let me know! I'll believe you. Just… maybe don't mention it to the nurses. They might get a bit… superstitious.

Haha, yeah, that makes sense. Creaky pipes and overactive imaginations are way more believable than actual ghosts, I guess. Though, the stories are pretty wild! One I heard involved a shadowy figure disappearing into a wall... Probably just a really good prank, or someone's brain playing tricks. I'll definitely keep the nurses in the dark if I happen to see anything... wouldn't want to freak them out. Thanks for the realistic perspective!

Hong Kong PARKnSHOP Mystery

fmd_good PARKnSHOP

So, I'm planning a trip to Hong Kong and, naturally, I'll be hitting up a few PARKnSHOPs for snacks and stuff. I've heard whispers...legends, even...about a secret PARKnSHOP employee discount only th… more

Nah, no secret employee discount. Wishful thinking, I reckon. ParknShop is pretty much the same everywhere – prices are what they are. Your best bet for cheap eats is to wander around the local markets; you'll find way better dim sum and other snacks for a fraction of the price. Just be prepared for a sensory overload – it’s awesome!

True, I figured the employee discount was a long shot. Thanks for the market tip! Sensory overload sounds… exciting. Any particular markets you'd recommend in, say, the Mong Kok area?
