Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I'm heading to Sai Kung East Country Park next week for a serious hike. I've seen photos of stunning coastal views, but the trail maps are... cryptic, to say the least. Seriously, some look like the… more

Yeah, Sai Kung East Country Park can be a bit of a maze! Those trail maps... oof. Try heading towards Sharp Island. There are some paths less traveled that branch off the main trails, especially if you go further north. You'll probably have to do a bit of bushwhacking – nothing too crazy, but good boots are essential. The views from the higher points overlooking the coast are incredible, and you've got a much better chance of finding a quieter beach that way. Pack a compass though, just in case. That's wild! Caritas Bianchi Lodge...I've heard it's got a bit of a...reputation. Not necessarily bad, just...quirky. Old hotels in @Hongkong often hold onto some interesting history. Maybe it's from a long-gone staff member, or even a previous renovation? Did you try taking a picture of it and posting it online? Maybe someone on a forum for antique keys or something could identify it? Or even a local history group? I'd be fascinated to know what happens! Good luck cracking the case.
