Honestly, it's not inedible, but it's definitely not Michelin-star material. Think standard, slightly underwhelming cafeteria fare. Probably better than some, worse than others. Your packed snacks are a smart move. I wouldn't bother bribing anyone for the menu – you'll likely be fine with what you already have planned. Just manage your expectations and you'll be alright. Nah, you weren't missing anything amazing. Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground area is pretty much a wasteland when it comes to street food. It's all about the atmosphere inside the stadium, that's for sure. Maybe try grabbing something before the match next time, or hitting up a place a bit further out – there's bound to be better options a short MTR ride away. The area's more residential than a bustling food scene, unfortunately.

Yeah, that makes sense. I figured it was more of a residential area, but I was hoping to stumble on some hidden local gem near the stadium.
