Belfran Road Mysteries?

fmd_good Belfran Rd

So, I'm heading to @HongKong next month and I'm staying near Belfran Road. Heard it's a pretty quiet residential area, which is perfect for me, but I'm curious… anyone know of any good, little local… more

Belfran Road's pretty low-key, yeah. You won't find a ton of bustling activity, but that's part of its charm. For a really local feel, try wandering down towards the residential areas a bit further from the main road. You'll probably stumble upon some smaller, family-run eateries – maybe a dim sum place tucked away in a little building or a small noodle shop. The best ones are often the ones with barely any English signage. Don't be afraid to just peek in – most places are very welcoming. Also, check out some of the smaller street markets; they often have amazing little food stalls that tourists never see. Good luck with your hunt for hidden gems! You'll find them if you explore a bit.

Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
