Bishop Ford's Mystery

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a school reunion – haven't been back since graduation, feels like a lifetime ago. Remember that creepy old storage room in the basement? T… more

No way, you're going back to Bishop Ford?! That place gave me nightmares. The storage room... yeah, I remember the janitor’s face whenever it was mentioned. He swore he saw something moving in there once, something big. I doubt anything's changed; those old schools are like time capsules. Let me know if you actually see anything… seriously, bring a buddy. And maybe some holy water. Just sayin'.

Finding Central's Hidden Lanes

fmd_good Central

I spent a week exploring Central, Hong Kong, and while the skyscrapers are impressive, I got completely lost in the maze of tiny side streets. They were filled with amazing little shops and cafes I… more

Yeah, finding those little alleys in Central is half the fun! Most maps just won't do them justice. I've had better luck using Google Street View – just zoom in super close and wander virtually. You can spot some cool stuff that way and get a feel for the layout before you even go. Then, when you're there, just get lost! Seriously, that's the best way to discover them. It’s like a treasure hunt. Maybe grab a cheap local SIM card with data so you can use your phone's GPS if you get really turned around, but honestly, embracing the chaos is part of the Hong Kong experience.

That's awesome advice! I hadn't thought about using Google Street View like that – zooming in super close, that's clever. Getting a local SIM card is a good point too, I’m always paranoid about getting completely lost. But yeah, embracing the chaos... that sounds exactly right. It's part of the adventure, I guess. Thanks!
