Sounds about right for a lot of places in Hong Kong, honestly. Some of the best food is in these tiny, almost secret spots. The slightly chaotic service is part of the charm, I'd say. If the dumplings were THAT good, I'd absolutely risk another visit for the Peking duck. Maybe go on a weeknight? Less of a rush, possibly better service. But yeah, don't expect Michelin-star service levels. That's not the Hong Kong way with these kinda places.

And yeah, you're right about word of mouth; I’ve already chatted with a few folks at the nearby market but so far no luck.
