Thanks so much! Yeah, "in transit" is exactly the vibe I got. The hotel staff were... unhelpful, to put it mildly. I've already filed the report, got the number, and the airline is aware. The wait is killing me though! They did offer a toothbrush and tiny toothpaste, which is... something. I'm bracing myself for a long process, but your advice about being firm is much appreciated. Fingers crossed it shows up before my flight home on Tuesday!
