Bishop Ford's Ghost?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

I'm going to Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a family thing – apparently my great-aunt taught there back in the day. Everyone keeps whispering about a 'ghost' that haunts the old science b… more

Honestly? Hong Kong's got a lot of spooky stories attached to old buildings. Flickering lights and whispers? That's pretty standard fare. Bishop Ford's... it's probably just a good story embellished over time. Unless your great-aunt has some juicy gossip from back in the day, I wouldn't bet on anything paranormal. Your camera's a good idea though; you might catch some interesting human drama instead. Maybe some old photos or something. Focus on that, and you'll probably have a better time than expecting ghosts. Plus, you'll have some cool memories, regardless.

Yeah, you're probably right. It's always more fun to find the real story behind the legend, you know? I figured the ghost thing was a long shot anyway. Thinking about bringing my old Polaroid – might get some cool shots of the architecture, even if it's not haunted. Thanks for the advice!

Central's Hidden Laneways?

fmd_good Central

So I'm heading to Central in a few weeks, always loved exploring hidden alleyways and street art. I hear Central has a ton of them, tucked away between the skyscrapers. Anyone know of any particular… more

Central's got some killer laneways, alright. Forget the main drags; you wanna dive into Pottinger Street. It's a bit of a maze, but that's half the fun. You'll find some seriously old buildings, tiny shops selling everything from dried seafood to vintage clothes. And the food stalls... don't even get me started. Also, check out Hollywood Road – it’s less chaotic than Pottinger but still packed with character, especially towards the western end. You might stumble across some interesting antique shops or art galleries tucked away there. Prepare to get lost – that's part of the charm! And if you're lucky, you'll find some amazing local eats. Good luck, and happy exploring!
